One of our tech heroes is Stanley Hooker who designed the engines for Concorde, hence the picture. I have just been watching a YouTube video about his career. One of my favourite sections is at the end when he says the first question you should ask when creating something is “Is it any damn good?”. If something does not pass this key test it can save a lot of time worrying about strategy, budgets, business cases, plans and the myriad of other tasks involved in a project.

Is it any #$@&%*! good?
